Mark of faithfulness

Psalm 103:17-18 The love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear Him. His salvation extends to the children's children of those who are faithful to His covenant, of those who obey His commandment.
Revelation 2:10 Remain faithful even when facing death, and I will give you the crown of life.
I never notice that the keychain I bought from the MV Doulos was hanging on my bag! Although I have left the ship like 5 years ago, but my heart pretty much still sailing with the old lady wherever she will be......(The photo below are taken while I was serving on board the ship, grabs from Wendy Phung's blog.) Huh....I should really get a good digital camera!

Handphone Arts....

Today I am going to show off my "Handphone" or some may called it "Mobile". I just bought a Art Deco Paint from Art Deco Shop, so I decided to "Jazz" it up all my thingy, begins with my "Handphone". I wrote my name at the back cover, some dotty at the side, and two tiny curves motive at the bottom & top. It's really fun!
"Jazz" up your "Handphone" today! (Would be cool to see your Handphone on your next post!)

A beautiful get away......

Last week, it was Harvest Festival holiday for the indigenous in Sabah. This celebration is about worshipping the god whom enable the harvest to be prosperous and abundant, of course they usually end up drinking "Tapai" (Rice wine) and getting drunk.
Well, for the rest of us who is not indigenous, we usually take these few days off to have church camp, vacation, a lot of activities were being organized in this season. (Work work work!) So for this year, my church have decided to have a church camp at this beautiful resort named Kinabalu Pine Resort, it was located near the foot hill of Mount Kinabalu. Check out the photo, isn't it beautiful!? (I stolen the photo from internet, forgot to bring along my camera to shoots some scenery!) Well, it was raining all the time and getting a bit chilly and cold, of course wet!
(But that didn't damper my excitement for the trip.) We have some bible talks about breakthrough, visited a cow farm where we witness a cow being dragged away for SLAUGHTER! (Horror! I can't take beef & milk for few days!) And the MOO were imported from Australia & New Zealand. And the rest of the time, I just reading a book called "Broken Windows, broken lives" by Adrian Plass, and dream away.......

Links to the "Talking Book"

Well, here is a link where you could download tons of E-book in pdf format.
(Only can be read by using Adobe Reader)
http://www.planetpdf.com/free_pdf_ebooks.asp?CurrentPage=1

And here is the link for downloading Adobe Reader if you don't have one.
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

After you setup everything, open an e-book and press "view" from the top bar, look for "read out loud", then the computer will start reading your books!
It's cool! Try it, you love it too!^@^

Books that talks....

I discover something new with my Adobe Reader software today (maybe most of the people already knew about it).
This software can read out my favorite novel, poems, short stories and nearly everything!
(I love that!)
So, I started to hunt for E-books that I dearly in love, have the computer(whoever was the narrator) read out loud!
(sure it's a fun way to discover literature, YEAH! :)
Now I can read a book while working with my computer.
People like me generally can't keep his mind still with just doing one single task, I prefer multiple tasks in one go. (a freaking working machine, that's what!) ^@^
Thanks for whoever has the ideas to install "human mouth" in a book!

Self image....

I remember.....it was a stormy night,
With heavy rain pouring down my roof top

Thunders was resound in my eardrum again and again,
It's like God's wrath erupted against me.
I was woke, terrified , cold......
Suddenly out of nowhere
A strong wind blown
My big mirror fell of the wall
And big crashes amplified in the dark night
I sat up on my bed
watching my mirror turned into a pile of broken pieces
Lying on the floor
It's like death suddenly became her......!

Self Image
Dark night, all alone without thoughts
The flashing lightning upon my sights
Left me breathless and faithless
Cold rain splashing down my windows
Against the silence of the night
Could this be my reflections?
How my spirit was in a state of shock and discomfort
I picture myself in the mirror upon the wall
Eyeballs screening through speechless
A sudden strike from the winds hits my reflections
I was falling hard on the ground

I could see millions of me
Staring back at me.... cold bloodedly
How could this be?
When all this while I was so confidence
So delighted in running my own life
Knitting my own piece of mind
God, how can You put such misery
Such struggles for me to cuddles
I hate the thoughts that....
You are the causes of my brokeness
You take away my pride
You put me in difficult circumstances
Where I would like to run and hide....
God, mend my broken reflections
In my humble state
Heal this self image.....

I'm getting older

Today I got a surprise phone call from my hometown youth! (It was almost 5 years that I am away from my hometown......use to be a youth worker in my home church.) So, this youth of mine by the name of Ah Kuan, I was teaching him when he was like 13-14 something. And now he is really all grow up, looking for a new life in a big city, young and tender, full of dreams & playful, and he is 19 years old! (And how old I became!......) So, I took him for lunch, show him a bit of my church and we have a jamming session in the main hall. He was improve amazingly playing the bass and drums. I remember how he started to learnt those instruments, it was slow and full of mistakes and I always told him to try again slowly. It's lovely how a note grown into a beautiul song, a seed grown into a beautiful tree! I love passing on what God have taught me with the gift and talent He offers me, that's why I beginning to enjoy teaching my music class. Thanks God for letting me have such pleasure to reach out...... Proverbs 22:6 Teach your children to choose the right path, and when they are older, they will remain upon it.

Where do I belong.....

You Belong in London

You belong in London, but you belong in many cities... Hong Kong, San Francisco, Sidney. You fit in almost anywhere.
And London is diverse and international enough to satisfy many of your tastes. From curry to Shakespeare, London (almost) has it all!
