Arts of life

What is Arts of life? How do we define arts?
I don't know what's professor definition might be!?
I believe arts is the expression of our inner child,
the first language we learnt before we even know how to talk.
The color, the texture, the movement,
the sound, the touch, the vision,
the imagination, the spirit, the taste,
the emotion, the feeling, the thought......
From the tip of brush lay open wide,
the world that is beyond words,
entirely our own views of life,
honest, down to earth, reveal oneself,
that's Arts of life to me!!

Paper Sculpture

Today, I was at the library browse through the book on craft making, And I came accross a book title "The magic of Paper Sculpture", ummm.......interesting! So I borrowed it and get back to my office to work on this new discovery.
I took out some thin paper (Just testing!), read the instruction, scissor, paper, glue...wow! so simple! It took some of my patience to cut out the small pieces such as eyes, lips, nose etc, then sticking all the pieces together to form a human head. In the end, I created a French Chic with a funny twin hats. I called her Emily, a cool lady!
Try it today and create some characters by naming it! Have an "expression" day!

The art of death

A bunch of flowers were on my desk this morning
it brings life into my working place
I've been collecting flowers and leaf
watching theirs color fades and turn dried
it's the art of death
How it is brownish and yellow
symbolize life is short but
who can measure their value
Whether it's living or death
I wonder if they could speak
Will I understand the cycle of life
With their faded beauty in sight
Will I understand the reality of life
With their time of wither
Will I......

Greetings on leaf.....

A basketful of handmade paper leaf
Paper leaf texture
A little green wire for hanging on the tree
Decorate the basket by sticking lots of artificial leaf
Wrap a green wire around the basket and tie a beautiful butterfly knot

Well, the best thing is! You can get a beautiful tree with branches (make sure it's a dead tree), paint it white, plant it in a pot, put the basket of paper leaf nearby the tree. The idea was that people can write words of blessing, wishes, thanksgiving or etc on the paper leaf, then they can hang the paper leaf on the tree. A great way to display or exchange greetings for church or community setting. Have one in your community too! They will love it!
Make yourself a "craft" day!

Rise up in beauty.....

I was thinking for a change this morning, I would write something sweet and soothing.....

Heart-felt Echo
Simple morning,
with beautiful sun greeted me,
showering me with her warmness.
I woke, rubbing my eyes,
"I love you sunshine!"......

I took off my burden,
turn on the showers,
overflowing streams pouring,
upon my flesh and body,
I saw clouds of heat and smoke,
descended in the air......

Who wouldn't fell in love,
such lovely day,
with dried lavender hanging upon my wall,
with sweet smelling candles burning,
a cup of peppermint tea,
along with bacons and egg,
life could get as simple as that......

Growing up

The younger I
With a pair of eyes
Looking around curious
Hearing the name I
Carry all my life

Learning to walk
Trying so hard to talk
Every step that I take
Just like having a wars
With gravity

Wearing the cloths
That belongs somebody
Too big for my body
Like it or not
It's not always choice

Dropping tears
Trying to looks the same
Like everybody else
Then I realise
I learn to blame

Growing up
With that same name
Some of the lesson I learn
Not only in the classroom
But from the hurts I hide

Sometime I imagine
My life like a white paintings
Holding the brush
Trying to paint myself
I can't believe it's grey

Let go your brush , my son
Let go your hurts , my child
Lean on me
& you will see
There's colours in Me!!

"Blow the candles, son......"

What a night...
I was all alone in silence, being stilled,
with Pure Cool's "My Funny Valentine" resounded in the air,
purple range display living room,
with candles flickering, allowing my mind to fly and fly away......

I remember being a kid, age 5
Shy, quiet, always lonely.
Most of the time I would,
hide inside my little shell and imagine,
observing my grown-ups,
what they do, what they said.

Ma was busied, baking,
cooking, washing, cleaning;
Pa was arranging the chairs,
welcoming peoples, smilling,
carrying me over his shoulder......

My little eyes wondering,
Pa, who were all these peoples?
Why you lit up all the tiny candles on the cake?
And I heard singing, you asked me,
"Blow the candles, son......"
"Blow it......"

I woke up,
I noticed the tears on my cheek.
Why am I crying?
Where am I?
It seems like just yesterday,
the celebration was held for me.
With my pa and ma,
and heard my pa said,
"Blow the candles, son......"
"Blow it......"

Forever in my mind......
Love you, Pa......

Dedication to Father's Day......

What makes a dad

God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle's flight,
The jo
y of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so,

He called it ...
Dad
Happy Father's Day! (c:

Money money money..... *($_$)*

What does the Bible said about money?
1 Timothy 6:10 The love of money is at the root of all kinds of evil. (Oops!)
Proverbs 11:28 Trust in your money and down you go! (Aiya!)
Proverbs 19:1 It is better to be poor and honest than to be a fool and dishonest. (What!?)
Proverbs 21:20 Fools spend whatever they get. (Hard hitting!)
1 John 3:17 If one of you has money enough to live well, and sees a brother or sister in need and won't help them-how can God's love be in that person? (Oh no! Me again!)
Luke 6:38 If you give, you will receive. (Oh! I see!)
Proverbs 3:9-10 Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything your land produces. Then He will fill your barns with grain. (Wow!)
Luke 12:15 Don't greedy for what you don't have. Real life is not measured by how much we own. (That's a beautiful wrap-up!)

Children of tomorrow!?...

Aqua Mystic Symphony

AQUA MYSTIC SYMPHONY

O drops of life
Refreshing....
Replenishing....
Soothing to my eyes &
a gentle splash on my cheeks....

Stillness of movements
You rejuvenate the earth....
Bringing life to the sea creatures
That moves about in all shape....
Bubbles of sound
Flickering upon my eardrums
Rekinder my spirit to dive....

A sudden strikes
Brings about a big storm of sea
Flushes upon the blueness of earth....
Horrors of life
Faithless dwell within
The deepest of me....
Sinking....

Visions darken
Bits and pieces of glittering drops
Shots violently
Toward the path of mine....
Flowers of umbrella
Blooming all over the place....
The plucking of strings
Resound the grand finale....
