I Can't take my eyes off of you......

Beautifully crafted song by Damien Rice, "Blower's daughter". Listen to the quiet whisper in this song, affection are spoken so loudly......

"The Blowers Daughter"

And so it is
Just like you said it would be
Life goes easy on me
Most of the time
And so it is
The shorter story
No love, no glory
No hero in her sky

I can't take my eyes off of you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off of you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes...

And so it is
Just like you said it should be
We'll both forget the breeze
Most of the time
And so it is
The colder water
The blower's daughter
The pupil in denial

I can't take my eyes off of you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off of you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes...

Did I say that I loathe you?
Did I say that I want to
Leave it all behind?

I can't take my mind off of you
I can't take my mind off you
I can't take my mind off of you
I can't take my mind off you
I can't take my mind off you
I can't take my mind...
My mind...my mind...
'Til I find somebody new

Trouble......

A bit of blues, cloud my days. I've got some depressing SMS from my friend, she said her family is driving her up the wall, everyone are mad with their troubles, she simply fed up with their never ending complaint.

What are troubles for? Why do we need to face it? Why we have to felt so helpless, so lonely, such failure to handles these troubles?

Life is unfair to us, if we tend to focus on these things. Let me share with you a dear song from Lizz Wright "Trouble"......

Trouble in the air
I don't want it
But I´ve to breathe
It´s coming through the door
Behind the shadows that surround me when I sleep
Somehow I know
that I can´t pray this away
I´ll keep my head down and get up on this train
This train
Ooo ...

I´m gonna ride this pain like a wave
Lord, make me over I don´t wann be afraid
And when my time is come and gone
I don´t wanna be the one who can´t let go

What if I get lost
I call out to you and you don´t save me?
The water comes too close
I don´t have the time to give
what you gave to me?
Well, as long as my name don´t change, I´ll be the same
I loved you more than time
Forever can´t take that away
Ooo ...
Can´t take that away

Just let me ride this pain like a wave
Lord, make me over I don't wanna be afraid
And when my time is come and gone
I don´t wanna be the one who can´t let go

Yeah, yeah, yeah

There is a river
Running by the train
It ain´t troubled
It´s just laying there, wading in the wind
Wading in the wind
Wading in the wind

Just let me ride this pain like a wave
Lord, make me over I don't wanna be afraid
And when my time is come and gone
I don´t wanna be the one who can´t let go

Let me ride this pain like a wave
Make me over I don't wanna be afraid
And when my time is come and gone
I don´t wanna be the one who can´t let go
Yeah, yeah
I´ll move on
Yeah, yeah
Ride
Yeah, yeah
Ooo, yeah ...

Arts of life said,
"I felt the loneliness, I felt the troubles, I felt the helplessness, but I also felt the need to let go!"

Rainbow Smile......

"Smile" a classic song sung by Westlife (Previously sung by Nat King Cole, Michael Jackson, Barbara Streisand, Josh Groban), wish to share this song with you! Have a rainbow smile lit up in your face!......

Smile, though your heart is aching
Smile, even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
You'll get by...

If you smile
With your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just...

Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just...

Smile, though your heart is aching
Smile, even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
You'll get by...

If you smile
Through your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile...

That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile

River song by Lee & Dave (Two worlds)

The Water Is Wide

The water is wide, I can't cross o'er
And neither have I wings to fly
Build me a boat that can carry two
And two shall row, my love and I

There is a ship that sails the sea
It's laden deep as deep can be
But not as deep as the love I'm in
I know not if I sink or swim

And when we've come to life's sweet end
Two hearts which naught but death could part
Will we be wed in a life to come
Or must we lie, the water wide
Or must we lie fore'er apart?

The water is wide, I can't cross o'er
And neither have I wings to fly
Build me a boat that can carry two
And both shall row
Two hearts shall flow
My love and I

O Shenandoah * Sail Away

Sail away, sail on out
Cross the wide Missouri

O Shenandoah I long to see you
Far away you rollin' river
O Shenandoah I long to see you
Away I'm bound away 'cross the wide Missouri

Sail away, sail on out
'Cross the wide Missouri
O Shenandoah I am a rover
Far away you rollin' river
A-searchin' for the greenest clover
Away I'm bound away 'cross the wide Missouri

So it's fare thee well, my love
I'm bound to leave you
Far away you rollin' river
But Shenandoah I'll ne'er deceive you
Tho' away I'm bound away 'cross the wide Missouri

O Shenandoah I love your waters
Far away you rollin' river
O Shenandoah I long to see you
Away I'm bound away
'Cross the wide Missouri

Sail away, sail on out
'Cross the wide Missouri

Old-fashion Worship

Two days ago, I was just surfing for some free Christian Music on the net, and I can't quite remember how I got into this website - The Secret Place Ministries. This site offers free worship songs for download and sampling, I love free stuff! (Who's not?) I enjoyed the simple words and arrangement of songs, funny to mention that it's pretty hard to find quiet & peaceful worship songs now a day. (Sound like the world we live in, doesn't it!) Most of the worship songs in the market today, it's just rock, fast tempo, upbeat songs; I do like them, but for my preferences I rather have quiet worship that enables me to be still in the presence of the Lord. (I guess I'm old-fashion......maybe I should grow a beard?)
Check out the sites below if you're old-fashion like me!
