Night Dancer...

Love is a growing or full constant light;
And his first minute, after noon, is night.

Morning surprise......

This morning ,the sun sting my eyes while I am still sound asleep. Suddenly, I heard someone talking on my windows, not someone, some bird language that I don't understand. Oh my! There were two birds talking on my windows, brown in color, with tiny little black eyes, so cute.......I have to snap it!......Click!!

Ush ush......

As I was using my brain today(finally!), it's stuck on my head that most people just rush about in their daily life; without taking much notice of the nature, animal, color, structure, sound, movement......right around them, the list could goes on.
I take a walk to my work place everyday; often a time I would stop here and there, to touch a leave, smell a fresh flower, pat a doggie, amazed by the magnificence of clouds 'transformation, it's free "3D movies" if you ask me!
Sometime I see the kids playing at their backyard, chasing and laughing, I stop and thought about how wonderful and simple life is. They smile, cheers, without a single worries of what the day might bring.
What a joy to acknowledge that we can have fun too in our daily life, if we just learn from the little one.
If you are like me, I tap on the street, dance my way towards the day, making melody that only I can understand. I don't cares if people thinks I'm a weirdo!! Everyone got their own quirky side for cry out loud.

I guess what I wanted to say here is,
while you're in a middle of a "rush",
let the nature "brush",
then your worries be "flush",
in a state of "hush"
......ush ush.....
Good day by the way! Arts of life......

My childish masterpiece.....

Today was a funny day......I thought of drawing something childish, a bugs or something, using four simple colors. Yellow, dark green, orange and dark brown.
Do you know what it is? I have absolutely no idea, I place the highlight green dot all over the place, and join the line together to form something, and then I color all the empty boxes with four color, and this is the result. If you got the time, do give it a try with a blank paper, it's quite fun really! Try using crayon to create the rough effects, like a kid's drawing or something......
Life is good as always, be creative!

I Can't take my eyes off of you......

Beautifully crafted song by Damien Rice, "Blower's daughter". Listen to the quiet whisper in this song, affection are spoken so loudly......

"The Blowers Daughter"

And so it is
Just like you said it would be
Life goes easy on me
Most of the time
And so it is
The shorter story
No love, no glory
No hero in her sky

I can't take my eyes off of you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off of you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes...

And so it is
Just like you said it should be
We'll both forget the breeze
Most of the time
And so it is
The colder water
The blower's daughter
The pupil in denial

I can't take my eyes off of you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off of you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes...

Did I say that I loathe you?
Did I say that I want to
Leave it all behind?

I can't take my mind off of you
I can't take my mind off you
I can't take my mind off of you
I can't take my mind off you
I can't take my mind off you
I can't take my mind...
My mind...my mind...
'Til I find somebody new

Hand-Crafted Christmas Tree......(Part 1)

This year, I'm gonna decorate my church sunday school hall for the coming Christmas Party. So I decided to "fashion" it up entirely with child's crafts and colorful beads, of course the sparkling christmas lights.

Well, the "Hand-Crafted Christmas Tree" is my first project.
It's pretty fun and exciting to make especially for the children.

Here is the materials needed, a lot of green color hard papers, colorful beads or glitters, PVA glue, pencils & a pair of scissor.

First trace your hand both left and right on the piece of green hard paper, with a pencil. Then cut out the hand print with a pair of scissor, trim your hand if it's looking funny! (Most of the children will trace out a monster giant hand...it's really cute! But we don't want that...) Don't forget to write your name on your own cut out hands.
After that, lay the colorful beads or glitters out with PVA Glue ready in a container. Brush the glue on the cut out hand, only brush on the fingers, not the entire hand. Then quickly sprinkle the colorful beads or glitters on the fingers as you like it.
Leave it to dry overnight, store them nicely in a box, will come to the next part in another post.

(To be continue......)

Teatime Craft......

It's always fun to "jazz" it up my tea pot and my mug! (I have took out the ropes and replace it with art deco paint!) I have chosen the Champagne Pearl color, blend with the light blue as background. I begin with drawing a little blooming flower from the base, it's tiny tulip! Then I added a big tree with leaves all over it, a flying kid on the air and little love growing in my garden. Of course, don't forget to write your name or favourite words on your finishing master piece!
Life is great with crafted art!
I was having a nice day, how about you?.......enjoy the arts found in life!

Zzzzz.......

Ever wonder how we looks like when sleep at night? I find it interesting to know, so I snapped myself when I'm sleeping! (and my little brother too...third shot!) Haha......
I wish I could sleep so peacefully! (Ooops! Sound like R.I.P)
Well, most of my night I couldn't sleep well, my back pain is a torture every night. (I need to switch my side almost every half an hour.)
Did you have amazing dreams at night? I never recall what I dream at night, everytime I'm in the middle of a sweet dream, someone always have to wake me up, and my sweet dream would go "Pop"! Can't remember a single thing!
Well, wish you a restful sleep and overflow with sweet dreams!

Big Fish.....

Yesterday was a holiday...... I picked up this movie "Big Fish" directed by Tim Burton, it was inspiring and amazing to watch. How one man telling tales about his life, and his boy wouldn't believe a single words he said, because it sound like fairy tales.

I remember during the end of the movie, his father suffer a stroke and was reaching the end of his life. His father asked the son, "How will I end my life? ", the son just couldn't help but to make up a happy ending story of how his father's fanstasy, coming alive to greet him and saying farewell. He shed his tears, seeing his father rest in peace, and the fairy tales lives forever in that boy's life.

Life is a fairy tales, with our own imagination to create a fictional world, that inspire us, excite us, that keeps us from the cruelty of life......

Tree of life......

Imagine your life like a tree.....

A seed planted on the ground
(the sperm and ovum join)
The seed begin to grow
(tiny foetus swim around in mum's body)
Seed "pop" out from the ground
(baby deliver out from mum's vagina)
Seed open to meet the world
(little baby open his eyes to see the world)
Seed feeds by sun, waters and photosynthesis
(mum feeds his little baby from her breast)
The tiny seed turns into a little green plant
(baby grow taller everyday into a boy)
The little plant grow to have roots, trunks, branches, twigs and leaves
(the boy learn all the ways of life in moral, discipline, behaviour, talking, walking...)
Inch by inch the little plant errect to be a bigger tree
(little boy growing each day to be a bigger man)
Beautiful, proud and strong the tree standing on the ground
(handsome, confidence and vibrant the man standing on the world)
Birds, butterfly, animal greet the tree
(friends, family, relatives meet the man)
Fungus, worms, weeds attack the tree
(age, enemies, sickness destroy the man)
The tree turns into snag, lonely, old and dying
(the man turns into old man, solitary, retired and fighting breath)
Debris the tree has become, lying on the ground.....
(funeral was held for the man, lying on the coffin with no sign of life.....)

Grieve over 100...

My word! This is my 100th post!? Never thought I could post that many stuff in my blog, time is sure speeding like anything......To be honest, who would have thought blogging would play such a big part in my life, with some of the friends I met along the way.
We share joy, we share burden, we share struggle...., life is dull without friends around, especially when the loneliness creeps into my mind and no single comments left in my blog. (But that isn't the main reason, my inspiration seems to be dried out, I have nothing to blog about!)
Well, I guess "life" taste better when I learn to endure the loneliness, and enjoy being with myself, switch my focus on the "Arts of life" that enrich my life deeply.
Let's celebrate then, I have "Pop" open the Champagne, while it's bubbles spill all over my kitchen table, "Cheers to Arts of life!......Cheers!".

Such relaxation.....

Yay! Finally someone got the photo develop! Few weeks ago, I went to Borneo Golf Resort for a time of relaxation with my sunday school teachers. Each of the teacher was allow to bring along their family for the retreat, since I'm the barchelor, so they arrange a boy to stay with me. My room was simply beautiful, such luxury with all the stuff I need for a cool holiday.
Well, it was a two day one night trip, mostly we were just swimming in the swimming pool, having bonquet, walk around the beach, unwind our stress in the world......
