Peep through my "Porthole"

My Cabin 227's porthole

Wow... it was like seven years ago since I departed from MV Doulos. One of my favorite spot on the ship, it's peep through my porthole from my cabin. (The photo was taken while the ship in Philippines, Subic bay port. ) If I am so rich that I could build my own house, I would request to install porthole-like windows, have the sun shine through every morning. Ohhh la la......

Tree of life......

Imagine your life like a tree.....

A seed planted on the ground
(the sperm and ovum join)
The seed begin to grow
(tiny foetus swim around in mum's body)
Seed "pop" out from the ground
(baby deliver out from mum's vagina)
Seed open to meet the world
(little baby open his eyes to see the world)
Seed feeds by sun, waters and photosynthesis
(mum feeds his little baby from her breast)
The tiny seed turns into a little green plant
(baby grow taller everyday into a boy)
The little plant grow to have roots, trunks, branches, twigs and leaves
(the boy learn all the ways of life in moral, discipline, behaviour, talking, walking...)
Inch by inch the little plant errect to be a bigger tree
(little boy growing each day to be a bigger man)
Beautiful, proud and strong the tree standing on the ground
(handsome, confidence and vibrant the man standing on the world)
Birds, butterfly, animal greet the tree
(friends, family, relatives meet the man)
Fungus, worms, weeds attack the tree
(age, enemies, sickness destroy the man)
The tree turns into snag, lonely, old and dying
(the man turns into old man, solitary, retired and fighting breath)
Debris the tree has become, lying on the ground.....
(funeral was held for the man, lying on the coffin with no sign of life.....)

Crowded Arts......

Crowded - Come together, fill or occupy fully (Oxford Dictionary)

I guess that's us, definitely telling something about us, the life we got down here on earth...crowd, crowd, crowd......urghh....felt like stuck in a neck bottle! But hey! Let's stop for a while, look again at the crowd, the arts we place on our street!......
Did you see it yet?......"Crowded Arts" on our street!

Purple Thoughts

Simply in love with purple color, blend with mysterious feeling, the delicate soul swinging my mood, drawing me close to the beauty of vision.
Can you imagine a perfect design of dark purple night dress, fashion it with glittery crystal, tempting to every man to take a second look.
What's more to witness it in the nature, where the purple meets the green, shadow a raindrop or two, simply marvel the outlookers!

Arts of life quoted ~ Artistic vision enlarge our view of this world......let's explore!

Fly me to the sky......

Have you tried a look out from the airplane window?
You can see beyond the reach of clouds, pouring out all over the sky, in million of layers. I always enjoy sitting next to the window, where I can have the best views of the sky, the light, the awesome creation of God! I love to imagined myself, flying unattached on the sky, freestyle, make joy with the air of winds, that carried me up and above......next time when you booked a flight, make sure you asked for a window seat! (You will love the look out!) Have abundance of joy today!

The art of death

A bunch of flowers were on my desk this morning
it brings life into my working place
I've been collecting flowers and leaf
watching theirs color fades and turn dried
it's the art of death
How it is brownish and yellow
symbolize life is short but
who can measure their value
Whether it's living or death
I wonder if they could speak
Will I understand the cycle of life
With their faded beauty in sight
Will I understand the reality of life
With their time of wither
Will I......

Greetings on leaf.....

A basketful of handmade paper leaf
Paper leaf texture
A little green wire for hanging on the tree
Decorate the basket by sticking lots of artificial leaf
Wrap a green wire around the basket and tie a beautiful butterfly knot

Well, the best thing is! You can get a beautiful tree with branches (make sure it's a dead tree), paint it white, plant it in a pot, put the basket of paper leaf nearby the tree. The idea was that people can write words of blessing, wishes, thanksgiving or etc on the paper leaf, then they can hang the paper leaf on the tree. A great way to display or exchange greetings for church or community setting. Have one in your community too! They will love it!
Make yourself a "craft" day!
